My immediate family consists of five members, my parents, two brothers and my sister. I come from a nuclear family. Even though we are currently in different parts of the world and separated by distance, we are still a very close-knit family. We try best to stay in touch and if we haven’t seen each other for long stretches of time, what we like to do most is to gel together for a family meal and discuss things that are taking place in our lives. This way we get to share and lighten our burdens and it’s better than going for therapy. Whenever we all are together, we go out to watch movies or cook dinners together, go shopping together and if time persists, we make sure that we go for a swim in the nearest river and set up a picnic and just enjoy each other’s company. I think family is really important because we all need to have someone who takes care of us and looks out for us. It’s very difficult to do things completely on your own and especially for me, I feel that my family is my biggest support system. When things get rough in life, I always know that I can come back to my family and they will help me out of difficult situations. They will help me to guide me and motivate me to do better in life and I think unburdening our worries by sharing it with them kind of gives us a clear mind and helps us to make better decisions of how to navigate through life. Thank you.
