Being stricter about illegal downloading of music can have both advantages and disadvantages. I believe one of the benefits is that music producers will be paid what they deserve. What I mean is there won't be any people getting their music without paying for it, so they will have the rightful profits. Another disadvantage could be that it won't be accessible for all people. This is because not all individuals can pay for music; some of them are poor. So they won't be able to listen to it, which means that music will be less widespread, I think.
