I think nowadays students are mainly given prizes based on their scores in exams. What I mean by that is if they achieve the highest score, they are likely to receive a prize or an award. That said, I do believe we should consider other crucial factors such as discipline, hard work, and improvement in their scores instead of just receiving the highest score. On top of that, I believe we should give them prizes based on their emotional intelligence. For instance, how well-behaved they are towards their peers and other students.
