Band 7+: what kind of weather do you like the most

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

The answer directly addresses the question and provides a well-developed response. You have successfully expanded on your preference by providing specific reasons, such as the relaxing sound of rain and the sensory experience of the smell of the ground. To maintain this level of performance, continue to use descriptive vocabulary and personal associations to add depth to your answers.

You spoke quite fluently and your ideas followed a logical progression. You used cohesive devices like 'Actually' and 'I also' to link your thoughts. To reach a higher band, try to avoid minor hesitations or fillers that might occur when searching for words, and ensure your concluding thought is as structurally sound as your opening.

You used some nice descriptive phrases like 'perfect excuse' and 'relaxing'. However, there were some lexical errors in the raw transcript that affected precision, such as 'rainy' used as a noun instead of 'rain', and 'smell of the goods' which was likely a mispronunciation or misuse of 'smell of the ground' (petrichor). Aim to use more specific vocabulary related to weather and sensations to boost this score. Boost vocabulary complexity to elevate the overall score.

Your sentence structures are generally good, but there were noticeable tense and word-class errors in the raw version. For example, 'I found' (past tense) should be 'I find' (present tense for a general preference), and 'rainy is something' should be 'rain is something'. Work on maintaining consistent verb tenses when describing habits or permanent preferences.
