I think popular sports in South Korea are football and running. For football, there are often big matches and people watch together or call each other to discuss the game. For running, there are often marathons. When I was in school, almost all sports were taught. Every week, my sports teacher changed the material. I studied basketball, futsal, volleyball, baseball, running, and athletic gymnastics. All of that was taught and also assessed as a school graduation grade. But I wasn't good at sports because I wasn't really interested. As I said before, I'm not really interested in sports. As far as I can remember, I've never watched a sports match. It's just that when I was in school, I watched sports matches when there was an inter-class competition held by the school. And because I wasn't good at sports, I was never invited to participate in sports competitions. I usually just give encouragement from the sidelines.
