Band 6+: Which famous person would you like to meet? Have you ever made a speech? Why? What about? When did you last hear a good speech? What was the most scientific discovery of the last century? Why? Do you think students study enough science at school? Why? Why not?

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

The answer is well-developed and directly addresses the first question about a famous person. It provides a clear choice (Rowan Atkinson) and elaborates with personal reasons and specific details, demonstrating a natural and enthusiastic response. However, the answer only covers the first of the five questions listed. To achieve a higher score, it would be beneficial to address all parts of the prompt, even if briefly, to show full engagement with the examiner's questions.

The answer is coherent and organized around a single topic, with a clear introduction and development. However, there are some hesitations and repetitions ('again and again' used twice, 'as I know' repeated) that slightly affect fluency. The response could be more concise and avoid redundancy. To improve, practice speaking more smoothly and avoid repeating the same phrases.

The vocabulary is appropriate and conveys the meaning clearly, with some good expressions like 'the very first person that comes to my mind' and 'the only exception.' However, there is limited range and precision; for example, 'the way that he plays' could be more specific (e.g., 'his comedic style' or 'his acting technique'). To improve, expand vocabulary related to describing people and performances, and use more varied and precise terms. Boost vocabulary complexity to elevate the overall score.

The grammar is mostly accurate, with correct use of past tense and relative clauses. However, there are minor errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'I've been a fan of him' (should be 'I've been a fan of his') and 'the way that he plays' (could be 'the way he plays'). The sentence 'I could rewatch this again and again even though I hate rewatching films as I know the plot, as I know the scenes and but this is the only exception' contains a conjunction error ('and but') and is overly long. To improve, work on sentence structure and avoid combining too many ideas in one sentence.
