So I believe that both the residents and the government share the responsibility for paying for public services. While paying taxes is a fundamental civic duty of the residents, allocating funds efficiently is the responsibility of the government. For instance, the government needs to prioritize essential public services such as education, healthcare, basic infrastructure, transportation, and public housing over other entertainment services. Besides, to ensure accessibility and fairness, some vulnerable groups, such as disabled people and the underprivileged, should be given tax relief.
