Band 7+: Who is your favorite sports person?

Your pronunciation is very good. Aim to refine subtleties and intonation to further improve.

The answer is on-topic and directly addresses the question, clearly identifying Lionel Messi as the favorite sportsman. It provides a natural and enthusiastic response, with some elaboration on the reasons for the choice, such as his personality, playing style, and skills. To improve, the response could be more concise and avoid repetitive phrasing (e.g., 'very good' and 'completely amazing'). Additionally, providing a specific example or a more detailed explanation of why Messi's qualities are appealing would enhance the depth of the answer.

The answer is coherent and well-organized, with a clear introduction and development. There is minor repetition ('this question' used twice) and a slight self-correction ('his scale' to 'dribble'), but these do not significantly impede understanding. To improve, reduce redundancy and aim for smoother transitions between ideas.

The vocabulary is appropriate but somewhat limited. Phrases like 'good personality' and 'playing style' are simple, and 'his scale' is an imprecise word choice (likely intended as 'skill'). The refined answer improves this to 'skill' and 'dribbling,' which are more precise. To score higher, use a wider range of descriptive vocabulary and idiomatic expressions.

The grammar is mostly accurate, with correct use of present simple and relative clauses. There is a minor error: 'his scale, dribble' should be 'his skill, dribbling' (noun form), and 'everything football' is missing a preposition ('everything about football'). The refined answer corrects these. Overall, the range of structures is adequate, but more complex sentences would enhance the score.
