I want to talk about why people lose touch with their old friendships. On the one hand, people's lives can change. Major events such as moving to a new city, starting a family, or switching jobs can lead to different priorities and less time for socializing with friends. On the other hand, people have hectic schedules. As people take on more responsibilities, it can be harder to find time to catch up even with friends they care about.
