There are statues of famous people in public places because it keeps them in our memories, almost like a visceral feeling of them being in our minds and not truly dying. It's almost like a forever living presence, you know? It's like they never die; they're alive in our hearts, and we always remember them for the rest of our lives. For example, in my country, Iran, there are many famous writers who have statues, and we study about them. It's almost like the things they did for our country are being recorded and shown to the public, almost like a piece of art.
