It's quite difficult for adults to make new friends because they are not very familiar with each other, and nowadays it has become difficult to establish trust or loyalty towards new friends. In contrast, with old friends, there is loyalty and an innocent bond. I think these are the reasons why it has been difficult. Other reasons include that people are making friends based on their habits, but they do not always match well, leading to doubt and a lack of trust. I believe these are the reasons why it has been quite difficult to make friends.
