The given diagram illustrates how coca beans are processed, step by step. It is clear that there are three different stages in this process, from picking raw beans to selling in markets.
In the first stage of this process, seeds are picked from cocoa trees. Then, the whole beans are separated to two groups to use purely in shells or as treats in different forms. For treats usage, they are dried at defined temperature, and transferred to the pressing machine. At the second stage, the pressing machine make dried cocoas whether for cakes or industrial chocolates.
For using as decorators in cocoa cakes, pressed cocoas are grinded and transformed to cocoa powder or liquor. Following that, the powder is mostly sold to the consumers, while cocoa liquor is usually used by industries to make cakes and drinks. However, industrial chocolates are used as sugar or with some final processing, are sold as chocolate products to consumers in the third stage.
In conclusion, it can be clearly seen that processing cocoa beans is a complex tasks that involves three main stages.
