Hope this letter finds you well. I was delighted to find out that you are thinking about embarking on a camping holiday this summer. This will be a memorable experience for you. However, there are a few issues you should be aware of as well. I will try my best to inform you about them and provide you some guidance overall.
Holidays are always great but camping holidays in particular are a great source of both relaxation and as well as important life lessons. You will be able to enjoy scenic views, swim in the river and eat fresh food. Even the night life is mesmerizing specially if you get to enjoy full moon. I would strongly recommend you to go during full moon as it is an indescribable feeling and should not be missed. Picking fresh fruits and enjoying river rafting near the camping ground is always a thrilling experience. Since it is your first time go on a camping holiday, I would strongly recommend you to make a checklist on things that is essential for you to take, such as, a strong weather-proof tent, knife, scissors, rice cooker, cups, power bank, torch light, match, plenty of drinking water, some dry foods (ie. dates and nuts) and of course essential medicines along with a first-aid kit.
Camping grounds can be dangerous sometimes if not proceeded with caution. Wild life is always a threat. Beware of bears and wolves specially if you are near the river stream as they can come to drink water. Take an insect and mosquito repellent spray as during night it can be impossible to sleep without getting attacked by them. Since you are a first-time camper, I would strongly suggest you to find a public camping ground where there will be likely a few other people. Also, they have portable toilets which is essential during the night due to safety reasons. Keep the local police and hospital’s number with you at all times in case of an emergency.
I would have love to go camping with you but unfortunately, I am taking a special course for my professional development. With work and classes I am quite busy most of the summer.
