Dear Museum Director,

I am writing to express my interest in the voluntary role at your prestigious museum, which is conveniently located near my home.

My motivation to apply for this part-time opportunity stems from my keen interest in history. Middle Ages history, in particular, is my area of study at university, and I believe that by contributing to the museum, I will have the opportunity to gain deeper knowledge about the various historical and cultural artifacts that your museum houses.

I have completed my graduation in history and accounting, so I can assist in maintaining the museum’s accounts. Additionally, my public speaking skills will enable me to effectively guide and assist visitors within the museum.

I am available for the entire month of June due to my summer vacation, which ends in mid-July. Therefore, I can contribute to the museum full-time for the whole month of June and the first half of July.
