Dear Sir,

I am writing in response to the part-time volunteering opportunity advertisement that I found on your museum’s website. I would like to inform you that I am interested in the position and will be happy to become a part of your team.

I have always been interested in history and arts, and even completed a number of courses focused on these topics. Now, I am looking for more practical experience, and your museum is the best place where I can gain such experience. I believe it will be beneficial for me to work among professionals who can share their knowledge with me.

I am determined to bring value to the museum. My skillset includes computer literacy, good communication and time-management skills. I like to talk to people, so I could survey visitors to determine whether we meet their expectations and what we can improve.

I am available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1p.m. to 5p.m., but can also work weekends if required.
