However, if you want to stay somewhere else, I will suggest a reputable traditional hotel that is located in the best place in the city. The price is fairly reasonable and in comparison with the services they offer, it is a good bargain. Moreover, access to public transport is facile as well as going to tourist attractions is possible on foot.
As you may know, here is reputable for its ancient sites and buildings. So, I strongly recommend you to visit these locales. Furthermore, last year, a water museum was opened downtown. I think it can fascinate you. In addition, there are several shops in the main bazaar and I suppose some of them will catch your eye. You can find cheap and flamboyant souvenirs there.
My city is a traditional city that is located in the heart of the country besieged by some deserts. As a result, the temperature gap between day and night is considerable. I think you should bring some warm clothes for the nights, nevertheless for the days you can wear a T-shirt. I was about to forget about shoes. Please bring a pair of comfortable sneakers with you as you should probably walk for long hours.
