Overall, Students applying from Japan , US and Russia has increased through out the period .In contrst, applications from Chinese students has decreased over the period.

To begin with, china had the highest student applying for European university just around 33000 in 2004. Which declined to just around 18000 at the end of 2008. Japan was the second highest country in the list with 20000 students in 2004 which had shown sharp increase until the end of 2008 and student applying for university reached to the highest point of 30000 in the given period.

Moreover, US and Russia had also shown increase through out the period. As for US it remained stable around 7000 in first two years which rose significantly for the next next three years and reached around 15000 at the end of 2008. Similarly, Russia had the least students applying for european university in it increased drimatically to the point of 8000 from around 2000 at the end of 2008.
