The given diagram illustrates a basic system that convert from dirty water to clean water.
Overall, there are seven distinct stages in the process of producing clean water, beginning with the supply of dirty water and ending with collecting drinking water.
At the first stage, dirty water is poured into the top of a plastic barrel. It passes through three substance layers. The top filter is sand, followed by charcoal, and the bottom of a plastic barrel contains gravel. As a result of removing impurities, the water is clean and ready to drink.
At the following step, the filtered water is transferred to a storage drum. A tube is connected between a barrel and a drum. One end of the pipe is located in the gravel at the bottom of a plastic barrel, and this pipe then conducts the filtered water into a storage drum. Finally, a tap located at the bottom of the storage drum may be opened to allow the clean water to be collected for drinking.
