This chart depicts the energy source in United States of America in two different times 1980s and 1990s . It’s clear that the oil , natural gas and coal have the highest ratio in both periods.
According to what shown in the 80s United States of America really on oil as a main source by over 40% of the overall consumption. In the second place came the national gas with 26% then the coal with 22% of the consumption . Although US was a head of nuclear power technology but it recordeds the lowest rate.
On the other hand in the 90s the nuclear power increase to reach 10% and they reduce the dependant on the gas because of that the gas record the lowest rate by 33% . The consumption of coal had increase to reach 27% but the national gas had reduced sslidly by 1% of the 80s. The hydroelectric remain the same.
To sum up the consumption of natural gas and oil decrease in those years but the coal and the nuclear power rate increases.
