This graph shows difference between main sources of energy used in 1980 and 1990. There are 5 types of energy sources being displayed on the graph, they are oil, natural gas, coal, hydroelectric power, and nuclear power.
Coal and nuclear power are being used more in 1990 than in 1980. The percentage of both sources are increasing by 5%. On the other hand, natural gas and oil shows decline in 1990. While the difference is not significant in natural gas, use of oil goes down to 9% in the span of 10 years. Despite that, oil is still the most common source of energy used both in 1980 and 1990.
Hydroelectric power is the only source of energy that has the same percentage on both year. It is also has the smallest percentage amongst other source of energy used in the USA.
