The diagram illustrates that how Geothermal energy is used to generate the electricity.
Overall, there are five stages to produce the electricity from Geothermal energy. The main sources to produces the electricity is the water.
Firstly, cold water is pumped down into ground to 4.5 km. Then in second stage water is passed by the injection wall through a tunnel which consists of hot rocks called as Geothermal Zone. In this zone water is being heated. Following this the hot water from the last stage is again pumped up to the ground by the production well. When the hot water reaches on the ground, it is passed through condenser which converts water into steam. Lastly, The steams have ability to rotate the turbine , generator is connected with the turbine so when turbine is rotated the generators attached with turbine produce the electricity. Finally, the produced electricity is then transfer to electric towers for further distributions.
