Overall, cars are predominantly the most popular mode of transportation in three out of the four countries, German individuals prefer bicycle more than other transports. In addition, motorcycles are generally the least favored choice in almost all listed locations, except for the USA.
Focusing on the data for cars, driving a car is most popular among young people in France, reaching approximately 75%. In contrast, there is no difference between Great Britain and the USA, with the percentage of car users standing exactly identical at 60% for both countries. Finally, Germany records the lowest reliance on cars, with only 40% of its young people choosing to drive.
Turning to motorcycles and bicycles, Germany displays the highest interest in cycling, with 45% of young people choosing bicycles.
In contrast, the USA shows the exact opposite trend, where motorcycles are three times more popular at 30% compared to bicycles at just 10%. Meanwhile, Great Britain’s youth prefer bicycles over motorcycles. Finally, in France, both modes of transport see minimal interest, with bicycles and motorcycles hovering at roughly 15% and 10% respectively.
