Overall,the grams of butter was a dominance , however, there were a significant fail in butter and margarine over the period.

The grams of butter rose sligtly to 160 in 1986 and then dropped sharply over the next 10 years to 65 while percentage of low fat/reduced spreads appeared in 1996 and rocketed to above 80 .Although, both of ingredient’s grams decrease sligtly and declined to over 45 in butter , appproximately 65 % in low fat until end of the period.
