Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to report a missing bag from my recent flight with your airline to London on the 5th of August, which originated from Algeria. Unfortunately, I forgot to retrieve my bag from the overhead compartment when I disembarked at Heathrow Airport, and I only realized my oversight upon arriving at my hotel.

The bag in question is a medium-sized black backpack featuring a distinctive yellow logo on the front. Inside, it contains several important items, including my laptop, two physics textbooks, various research papers, and wireless headphones. Additionally, there is a conference badge with my name attached, which may aid in identifying my bag.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could check the lost and found department at the airport for my backpack. If located, I kindly request that you arrange for it to be returned to my current hotel. I am more than willing to cover any shipping fees associated with its return.
