Overall, people did not have to work including unemployed and retired had more free time than the remaining groups. It is also evident that male generally spent more time on leisure than female, excepting for employed part time and housewives.
Considering the more unoccupied people, both employed and retired individuals,regardless of gender, had the highest amount of free time. In these 2 groups, while male enjoined roughly 85 hours, whereas female had slightly less, at around 78 hours. This indicated that not being part of the workforce allows for significantly more leisure time,becoming idler.
Regarding to the more busy people, the number of hours full-time working men and women invested in leisure time was almost identical to past-time working women, with the respective figures being about 45, nearly 48 and exactly 40. Meanwhile, a higher level of precisely 50 hours was seen in housewives. Additionally, it is noteworthy that no data was provided for part-time employed male.
