Overall, Data scientists and Computer Engineers have the highest salaries over all the time before the introduction of software Engineers starting peak, While, Mechanical, Civil and Computer Engineers have lower salaries comparing to the previous job positions.

Starting with the Civil Engineers salaries, we can see that they remain stable from 2001 to 2015 with subtle increases in 2004 and at the start of 2015. While, Mechanical Engineers salaries experienced a downward trend from 75K USD in 2001 to 20K USD in 2005. Then it remained stabilty until it rosed again in 2009 to 2015 reaching around 80K USD.

However, for the Software Engineers, their salaries were quiet stable before they had a peak in 2011 which consequently, they had a huge increase in their salaries from around 20K USD to 225K USD.
