Dear Mrs. Barrett,

I hope you are doing well. I recently saw your advertisement on the town hall notice board in which you stated that you require someone to assist you at your home for a few hours during next summer. I am interested in applying for this position as I am good at performing almost every household chore including cleaning, laundry, gardening, and babysitting etc. I can also cook a variety of cuisines which I am sure you will enjoy. Since childhood, I loved performing domestic work and I find it to be very therapeutic. I also have a compassionate nature and helping people makes me very relaxed. I am currently enrolled at the local community college where I study arts on the weekends. However, I am broadly available during the weekdays and would be more than happy to come over to your house for help. I would be grateful if you could consider me for this role and I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
