Dear Mrs Barrett,

I am writing this letter in response to the advertisement for a house helper to assist you for a few hours each day during the upcoming summer.

I would be glad to offer you my help in assisting you with various household chores such as cooking, laundry and general organisation of the house. It would not only ease your work but also provide you suitable time to take rest. Besides, I would sometimes take you for grocery shopping and also run some errands for you.

I recently pursued a two-year course in Elderly Care and that’s why, I have been interested in helping old people for the past two years. Also, I did training in the same field so you do not need to worry too much about your special care. Moreover, I always want to work in a home environment where I can easily adjust myself according to others.

I would be available for this work from upcoming Monday on 28th june from early morning until late afternoons. As I have some other personal responsibilitie so I would not be able to escalate more hours. Kindly let me know if you consider my application.
