Dear Mrs. Barrett,

I was delighted to come across your advertisement seeking assistance in your home for a few hours each day next summer. I would like to offer my services to help you with various tasks around the house.

I have a strong background in gardening, having worked as a full-time gardener at a local golf club for two years. In addition to gardening, I am more than willing to assist with household chores such as grocery shopping, cleaning the porch, and any other tasks you may need help with. I believe my skills can be of great benefit to both you and your home.

Next summer, I will be completely available and eager to take on this role. I can offer my assistance every day from 12 noon to 7 PM, although I would require Sundays off to recharge for the week ahead.
