Dear Mrs. Barrett,

I am writing to express my interest in assisting you with household chores during the upcoming summer, as advertised in our local newspaper.

Since childhood, I have always helped my mother with various household tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, dusting, and cooking. I am confident in my ability to perform these duties in your home. Additionally, I enjoy running errands, which means I can also assist with grocery shopping.

My summer break will begin next month, and I want to make the most of my time by engaging in productive activities rather than being a couch potato all day. Moreover, working in your home would allow me to stay physically active throughout the day. Creating a clean and serene environment would bring me great satisfaction.

Regarding my availability, I can help you six days a week, from early morning until late afternoon. However, I am unavailable on Sundays, as I have tutoring commitments for children on that day. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with you.
