Dear Pat,
I hope this letter finds you well. Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for the wonderful weekend spent at your place. However, upon returning home, I realized that I inadvertently left my coat at your house. I believe I left it in the basement while preparing to leave on Sunday.
The coat is a brand new Columbia leather jacket in a distinct green color. I recall leaving it in the walk-in closet within the basement. In the right side pocket, I have my office key, and in the inner pocket, I keep my car keys.
As my office key is in the coat, I would appreciate meeting today at 7pm at a nearby coffee shop to retrieve it. If this is not convenient, I’ll make arrangements to collect it from your place the following day on my way to the office.
Thank you for your understanding and assistance in this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Mohan
