Taking photos was the second significant feature of mobile phones seeing an increase from 66% to 76%. The percentage of users who used for texting was 73% in 2006, but increased to 79% in 2010.
However, playing games was one of the least used features with 17% in the first year, having an increase and reaching around 42% in the following years. Mobile phones were not used for the purpose of searching the internet and recording video in the year 2006. There was a rise in the percentage of playing music from 12% to 60% throughout the period.
