The given pie charts illustrate electricity production by five different fuel sources in Australia and France for the years 1980 and 2000.
Overall, it can be observed that coal and nuclear power produced the largest number of units of electricity in Australia whereas in France, coal and natural gas and nuclear power produced electricity by fuel source in the course of 20 years of duration.
As it is seen in the first charts, coal was the major reason for the production by units of electricity in Australia in 1980 while in France for the same year, natural gas and coal each contributed 25 units followed by oil with 20 units. Furthermore, hydro power and natural gas were noted as 20 units each and oil being the lowest amongst all.
Another set of pie charts also shows the total production of electricity by the countries for the year 2000. The production in Australia in fuel source was recorded highest by nuclear power with 130 units whereas in France, nuclear power was just below the units made in Australia which was 126 units. Also, the overall units for total production in both the countries in 2000 was noted as 170 units.
