To begin with, the biggest amount of energy generated from wind in 1985 was in the United States, which was 1200 megawatts at the beginning. Then, the amount of wind energy generation rose to 1650 megawatts during the following five years. However, the amount of wind generation had faced an opposite trend from 1995 to 2000, which steadily dropped to 1500 megawatts in 2000.
At the same period, the amount of wind energy generated in Denmark saw a significant change, which was 250 megawatts in 1985, and increased dramatically to 1650 megawatts in 2000. In India, it was the lowest amount in 1985, which was only 200 megawatts. Then, it showed a remarkable growth, and grew to1200 megawatts in 2000. Furthermore, the amount of wind energy generation in Germany was a stable increase, which rose from 400 megawatts to 900 megawatts between 1985 and 2000.
