Overall, almost all products had their spending increased through the period, except for clothes and books. Notably, food is the most popular article, as it always remains the highest consumption in both two years among five ones listed.
Regarding the purchases recorded in 2010, food had stood at the top tier with around 37 millions of dollars spent. Besides, at the same time, fashion customers had paid 25 millions of dollars for clothes, making it second to food. Smartphones and toiletries had followed, the number of spending ranging from 17 to 20 millions of dollars. Books seemed to have the lowest outcome, just 10 millions of dollars.
Turning to 2014, food witnessed an increasing shift to nearly 45 millions of dollars spent. Following the same trend, the consumption of smartphones grew significantly by 7 millions of dollars and surpassed clothes. At the same time, there were 20 millions of dollars paid for toiletries, remarked a slight rise in the consumption of this product. However, no change occurred with the number of clothes, making it go down to the third height. Those contrast starkly with the case of books when it experienced a 2-folds decline to only 5 millions of dollars consumed.
