Overall, there were significant improvements in road access to the city hospital. Changes included the expansion of car parks for the public and staff, adjusted bus stations and introduced three roundabouts.
Three years ago, the hospital was in the middle of a circular Ring Road. There was only one road connecting it to City Road was Hospital Road. Moreover, the car parkf for staff and public was perpendicular to the hospital. Further east, a bus stop on both sides of this road, making it easier for bus riders.
In 2010, a major renovation. Additional development was that three roundabouts at the junction of the road, one on Hospital Road and another on City Road. These made transportation in the area more convenient. Besides, the bus stop was relocated to the southwest area. The old park was redesigned into two car parks. The park staff remained the same and a new car park was built on the southern side of the hospital.
