Overall, desktop computer remain the most popular in 2005 due to other electronic device categories.However,desktop computer experienced a dramatic decrease from 2005 to 2020 while other categories experienced a rapid rose between 2005 and 2020.

Specifically,there was a dramatic increase in ownership of smartphones and smart TVs from 2005 to 2020.While smartphones rised from 15% in 2005 to 75% in 2020,smart TVs rised from 5% in 2005 to 50% in 2020.Moreover,also usage of laptops rose from 25% in 2005 to 65% in 2020 and usage of tablets rose from 10% in 2005 to 45% in 2020.However,every category experienced dramatic increase except desktop computers.

Notably,while the most popular electronic devices were desktop computers and laptops in 2005; in 2020, it became smartphones and laptops.
