While The recycling rate of glass containers, aluminium cans and plastics are on rise, Papers and Cardboards rate is following a downward trend throughout the period.
Glass containers recycle initially experience a decrease from 1982 to 1990, then reproach its initial percentage 50%, and experience a consistent increase after that point to 60% until the end of the period. Aluminium Cans are also experiencing an upward trend. It shows the most significant increase by almost 40% thought this period. Plastics’ recycle percentage experience a slight increase starting in 1990 with about 3% to around 9% until 2010.
Meanwhile, Paper and Cardboards’ recycle rate is generally illustrate a decrease throughout these years. Its initial value is around 65% and experience a slight increase to 70% until 1986, then reproach to around 65% in 1990. After this point, It illustrate a signifiant rise to 80% in 1994. However later, it starts to follow a downward trend to 70% until 2010.
