The bar chart depicts the proportion of time that Australian mothers and fathers allocated to assist their children with four activities in 2013
Overview: mẹ cao nhất.., ba cao nhất.., both thấp nhất..
From an overall perspective, it is evident that mothers dedicated significant time to dressing and homework for the children while fathers spent more time on playing games and preparing for beds. In addition, joint parental involvement accounted for the lowest percentage during the timeframe.
Looking more closely at the data, the chart of dressing and enjoying games accounted for the highest shares across the diagram. Whereas the fathers’ help in game recreation contributed to 70%, the same amount was spent by mothers on dressing their children up. Meanwhile, the second highest share of time spent by mothers and fathers was reported in helping with school assignments ( 60% and 30%, respectively) and sleep preparation (nearly 50% and exactly 50%, accordingly).
In contrast, not all activities were helped by both parents, demonstrating the smallest percentage across all types of activities. However, providing assistance in studying exhibited the largest share of 10% by both parents.
