This process chart illustrates a linear and man-made process of the cement making how it is used to form concrente for construction. It illustrate a series of different steps organized a structured format to achieve the goal.
Overall, the whole process is about making cement from raw materials like limestone and clay and how cement is used to produce concrete later for building purposes. The process starts from making cement using different steps and tools and then using the same cement for concrete production by simply mixing other materials with it.
First, limestone and clay are both poured into a crusher to get crushed. Then, the crushed materials are mixed inside a mixer to form a mixture and is heated with a rotating heater using external heat source. After that, the heated mixture is then converted into powdered form using a grinder which results in the production of cement and is then packed in special bags.
Furthermore, for the concrete formation, four different substances are mixed to get the desired output. Around 15 percent cement and 10 percent water are mixed with a quarer of sand and almost half the percentage of gravel. Gravels are small stones that are mixed with cement and sand for firmness. These are mixed very well using a rotatory machinery called concrete mixture. After the concrete is ready it can be used for building purposes.
