The line graph compares the percentage of money allocated to advertising from 2010 and to the future in 2040. Overall, the report reveals a significant shift in the spending on advert over the period, with the figure for the Internet experiencing a substantial increase, while the reverse was true for remaining platforms of advertising, which witnessed a decline. It is also noteworthy that TV underwent a notable rise and then hit a free fall.
Money spent on advertising on the Internet stood out as the dominant. Starting at 10% initially, the trend increased consistently to just below 70%, reaching its peak in future. Similarly, money spent on advertising on TV showed 50% in 2010, followed by a peak of 60% a year later. However, this figure will plunge to 40% in 2030 and will remain relatively stable in 2040.
In contrast, roughly around 45% of money was spent on advertising on radio, a figure that then experienced a gradual upward trend from 45% to just 30% in the predicted year. Money spent on Newspapers and Magazines made up around 35% and 32% in 2010, respectively. Both of them showed a gradual decrease in 2040, for the former 20% and that of the latter under 20%.
