Surpassed the rates of the total clothing exports in China started at nearly 15% in 2000, which reached its peak at 36% by the end of the year. The figure for Asia’s exporting had a slight fall from 30% to 17% in only two years, 2000 and 2002. Therefore, Asia had their proportions remain stable the next following years until the last year 2014, 20% was the figure for total clothing exports.
In contrast, the percentages of the European Union peaked at 33% in 2000, before failing considerably in the next year. From 2008, the European Union figures dropped rapidly and stood at 20% in 2014. Similarly, the USA proportions remained steady at 11% in the first two years and witnessed a slight fall before having a minimal rise in 2010. In the end of period, the percentage of USA hit the lowest at 6%.
