Moving to a detailed analysis, people between 35 and 49 ranks first in Facebook with shares standing at 30%, followed by 18-34 years old individuals, at 29%. 19% of 50-64 years old social media users use Facebook, being more than the youngest group by a margin of 5%. People over 65 contribute 8% to the total.
With regard to YouTube, 35-49 and 18-34 age groups is responsible for below one-third and about a quarter, respectively. The figure for humans aged 50-64 is one-fifth, which is double that of 65 and over ones. 15% is constituted by 10-17 years old persons.
In terms of Twitter, 40% of 18-34 age group prefer it, compared to 29% (35-49) and 18% (50-64). The indicator of the youngest group is 9%, being over two times as high as the oldest one.
