The charts contain 6 major subjects they are as follow PhD science , first degree arts , masters arts , Phd arts, first degree science , master science . The charts represent the total percentage of graduates in the year 1980 & 2008 respectively.

As the chart tells us in the year 1980 there were 13% of people who qualified for phd science while that number has more then doubled in the year 2008. Same can not be said for first degree arts as it has more then halfed dropping from 25% to 11% in the following years. Masters arts has shown low to little change over the years as its number is steady from 12% to 13% . Phd arts has seen some growth over the years as its number has risen from 2% to 7 % whereas first degree science & masters science have stayed constant over the years at 19% & 29% respectively.

Phd science & first degree arts have seen the most growth & fall over the years as they both have quite the opposite trajectory compared to each other while one has more then doubled its qualification the other has more then halfed its qualification.
