Overall, except for 2020 China consistently had the highest sales amongst the three regions, while europe showed a gradul increase in sales over the period. The US, on the other hand showed fluction in sales over the time period.
In 201, China led the emerging EV market with a sales figure of almost 0.25 million units, significantly surpassing both the US and Europe. Sales figures of Europe and United States were almost similar, showing a considerable gap comared to China.
Moving in 2017, There was a slight increase in sales of all regions with china maintaing it’s lead by selling around a half million vehicles whereas sales in the United states were stagnant.
By 2023 China continued to dominate the global sales of electric vehicles, selling close to & Million vehicles. Europe experienced a further rise in sales to reach almost 3.5 million units demonstrating a steady increase over the years. The USA however observed the slowest growth with sales figures reaching about 1.5 million units which makes China the market leader followed by Europe and then United States
