The graph represents the difference in time spent in teaching in diverse schools in Japan, Spain, Iceland and USA in 2001. Generally, the tutors in Japan on average dedicated less time on educating than those in other countries.
As it is illustrated, in upper secondary schools the most amount of hours were spent in the United States of America which is almost 1200 hours. In contrast to the USA, in the land of rising sun the time spent i teaching in upper secondary school was equivalent to 700 hours, 200 hours less than in Spain and Iceland’s schools, where hours were pretty similar. According to the graph, a teacher in Japan, Spain and Iceland spent as much as 600 hours in teaching in primary schools, meanwhile in USA the duration was at the top and was equal to 750 hours.
Finally, in lower secodary schools, the average number of hours a tutor spent in Iceland, Spain and Japan on average was about 650 hours meanwhile 1000 hours was spent in the USA.
