The given bar chart illustrates the accommodation preferences (self-catering, caravan, camping, hotel) selected by British people including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland in 2010.
Overall, the most popular accomodation was hotel preferred by British citizens. In contrast, the demand for camping was less significant than other types of accommodation.
Moving on to the details, the share of hotel in England and Scotland made up about 54% and around 52% respectively, while proportion of Wales accounted for around 49%, which was slightly higher than percentage of Northern Ireland (around 4%). Moreover, the index of both England and Wales in terms of self-catering consisted roughly 37% and 38%, which was almost the same to each other. However, Scotland’s fraction was responsible for 30%, whereas the rate of Northern Ireland sttod at around 12%.
Furthermore, caravan in England registered for about 5%, whilst in Scotland it was approximately 12%. However, camping in these nations was on the contrary (England around 12% and Scotland roughly 5% constantly). Besides that, caravan in Wales made up about 9%, while rate of Northern Ireland formed about 31%. Altough the rate of camping in these two countries was almost the same (around 14% in Wales and about 12% in Northern Ireland, which was 2% less compared to Wales).
