The given bar chart represents how many men and women employed in seven different types of job respectively in Australia last year.

In overview, the number of male has higher than that of women in most jobs, apart from in the field of professionals and clerical. Both of them are work as clericals and professionals the most and generally the least as laborers.

When looking into diagram, there are as high as 900,000 men work in trades, and by following, work as clerical with almost the same number as previous. However, the number of male work as managers, professionals, semi-professionals and production is similar, between 500000 to 650000 people. Lastly, men work as laborers the least with merely 400000 people.

On the other hand, the most women work in clerical field with almost 1 million people. There are merely 100000 women work in trades and production respectively, which are the least. When comparing gender, the number of men employed as tradespeople is nine times more than that of women.
