The bar chart indicates the amounts of men and women taking part in various evening courses at an adult education center in 2009. The pie chart illustrates an overview of the demographics of the course participants. Overall, the bar graph shows a significant disparity between the numbers of males and females attending the courses. On the other hand, it is evident from the pie chart that the older age group was the most prolific in terms of attendance at the evening classes.
It is obvious from the bar chart that females were more interested in evening classes than males. Moreover, there is a notable inclination towards language and painting courses among the attendees. In comparison to men, more women attended drama class, approximately doubled. Notwithstanding the higher number of female participants, sculpture class was marginally more popular among men than women.
Regarding age, the course participants were predominantly from the seniors. People in their fifties and above account for forty percent of the whole. Individuals around forties and thirties make up 26% and 16% respectively. Adults around twenty years old to twenty-nine years old occupy slightly over 10%. Lastly, teenagers who aged under twenty years old make up only a small proportion of the whole attendees, exactly 5%.
