The graph illustrates the percentage of housekeep, that owned rented apartaments in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011.

Overall, Although the graph signifficantly increased since 1918, the trend fluctates in some time period. Moreover the procent of households owned by a rented accommodation is about to doubled before 1961 and after 1971

The chart shows one semi – peak and one highest procentage in 1939 and 1991 respectively. While in 1939 the graph dropped dramatically from 20% to about 15% in 1951, in 1991 it goes down gradually from just under 40% to about 35% in 2011.

It is some sky rocketed process in 1918 and 1951. In 1918, where was a minimal point, it sharply grew from 10% to just upper 20% in 1939 and in 1951 this number rapidly rose from around 14% to a strong 30% since 1951 and 1971. From 1971 the data demonstrates some slowly rose from 30% to just under 40% in 1991.
